Get ready, cocktail lovers — Kuala Lumpur Cocktail Week (KLCW) is back for its second edition from 22 to 27 April 2025, turning the city into a vibrant stage for the world of mixology. This year’s lineup features 27 international bars, cocktail pairing dinners with top local restaurants, and an incredible Festival Village celebration at Sentul Depot.
Spanning five key zones — Bangsar, PJ/TTDI, Damansara Heights, Chinatown, and KL City Centre — KLCW will host exclusive one-night takeovers from some of the world’s best bars, including Handshake Speakeasy (Mexico), Jigger & Pony (Singapore), and BKK Social Club (Thailand). Local favourites like Bar Trigona, Pahit, Joloko, and Concubine will join in the action, creating a weeklong mix of local flair and international innovation. Full event list, ticketing and more here
The Festival Village on 26 April promises a day of cocktails, live music, performances, and pop-up experiences. Meanwhile, industry seminars led by experts such as Hadrien Moudoulaud and Philip Bischoff will offer insights into olfactory mixology, hospitality, and even personal finance for bar professionals.
By fostering cross-industry collaborations and expanding Malaysia’s cocktail community, KLCW 2025 aims to grow appreciation for fine drinks and craft cocktails while cementing Kuala Lumpur’s position on the global cocktail map.
For foodies, don’t miss the Cocktail Pairing Dinners — a collaboration between KLCW and some of KL’s best restaurants like Akâr, Chipta, Ignis, Beta, and Upperhouse, offering curated menus with paired drinks starting from RM250++.
The 2025 committee brings together a diverse group of industry leaders and creatives, including Jon Lee, Matthew Goh, Brandon Tan, and Maria Escobia of Penrose; Angeline Tan and Amanda Wan of Three x Co; Affie Adut from Here & Now; Joel Poon of Reka:Bar; Angel Ng Ji from Triptyk; Jin Boone Ooi, co-owner of Wholly Spirits; Rohan Matmary, beverage manager at Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur; Nicholas Ng, founder of Food for Thought and Tipple.my; Trisha Toh, art director and content creator known as @trishates; and Valen Lim of Valenlim Studio.
