The new Holiday collection packaging encourages everyone to discover and gift Penfolds for special gifting occasions. It is based on the bold and joyful aesthetic of “confetti.”
It can be difficult to find the ideal present for wine lovers, but red wine is a classic choice for any festive event, including Christmas. For Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz and Bin 8 Shiraz Cabernet, the packaging’s front features an explosion of confetti to evoke the holiday mood. Continuing the celebration theme, a compact confetti burst with a palette of red and gold has been used across Max’s range, featured on the holiday pack for Shiraz Cabernet, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz was often referred to as ‘Baby Grange’, in part because components of the wine are matured in the same barrels that held the previous vintage of Grange. First made in 1960 by the legendary Max Schubert, this was the wine that helped forge Penfolds reputation with red wine drinkers by combining the structure of cabernet sauvignon with the richness of shiraz. Exemplifying the judicious balance of fruit and oak, Bin 389 highlights the generous mid-palate Penfolds is known for.
Penfolds Holiday Gift Collection will be available from this month until end of January 2023 at various retailers across Malaysia, including S&P, The Market Place and Robinsons.
